These specialists all have different traits and abilities. Option 3 will not help most new players as the world map is something often overlooked in people's introductory runs. If you find resources aren't that hard for you to manage, just stick with option 1. The difference is whether you value colony durability or resource efficiency better. When you are looking at ideology, just make a decision between 1 and 2. Just get your feet wet, and see what can come of it. Don't worry, the game will be challenging enough. Once the Doomsday Bunker is finished, players can focus on expanding their colony without worrying about most of the major catastrophes.Just select The first option for Environment, Catastrophes, and Resources.This will result in a difficulty level of 25% before getting to ideology. ![]() This can take a long time to complete, but having the bunker will greatly increase the chances of keeping the colony alive in Surviving the Aftermath. ![]() To finish the Doomsday Bunker, players will need to reach 100% in each of the four Engineer Outpost categories and complete every main mission along the way. Each one will increase the percent of the chosen category's research for the Doomsday Bunker. There are four types of Engineer Outposts that players will need to establish: Medicine, Ecosystem, Life Support, and Defense. Once a Specialist is trained, players can establish Engineer Outposts. During the second construction phase, players will need to use Engineer Depots to convert Specialists to Engineers. Along with sending Specialists to complete tasks, there is one other major requirement for completing the bunker.
